My six month old is constantly biting me...?

My baby boy is a little over six months old and has become accustomed to biting me when I try to nurse him, and he thinks this is the funniest thing since Elmo. Right now he's trying to bite my fingers... he has teeth and it hurts! How do I discourage this behavior?
