I had recently had oral surgery done. I had mandibular torus removal and some extractions done also?

With the tori removal they slice gums under tongue and pull gum flap back and chisel done the bone. After being sutured back. I had a molar pulled. During the extraction, the doctor told the nurse to stop what she was doing right then. Here she was holding the suction on top of the gum that he had just sutured causing it to lift off bone. After surgery, within a day the left side healed beautiful. The right side however, where the gum lifted was white and brown, smelled horrible. Tissue was dying. I had to go in and be restiched because the stiches came out within 2 days. I was reasured by nurses prior that it was just tissue healing. I couldnt get in to see doc because he was out to be restiched until 6 days after surgery. Keep in mind that I am a smoker, didnt smoke until 1 and a half days after surgery. But I started using the patch due to pain. I had a few drags off a cigarette from time to time because the urge was so strong, BUT I COVER WOUND WITH GAUZE COMPLETELY Mind you the post op paper says smoking only restricted for 24hrs. I know that smoking slows healing but its not from smoking. I have have been stiched 3 times.. the tissue died. I wasnt given an antibiotic till 1 week and 3rd stiching later! DURING ALL THIS MY BONE IS EXPOSED AND I AM IN WORST PAIN EVER! I guess I am looking for some reurance that this isnt just because i was a smoker. The doctor told me more than once what it was caused from. WHY AM I GETTING SO MUCH GRIEF FROM DOCTORS OFFICE! LIKE THIS IS ALL MY FAULT! I have tried to get other doctors opinion. NO ONE WILL TOUCH ME! help
