Why do people have to be ignorant and talk bad about gay people in the military?

I am a completely straight male and I'm proud of who I am. I support gay marriage and think everybody has the right to be happy in the one life we have to live. So my question, why do ignorant KIDS in the military have a problem with a gay person serving with them? They can do just as good a job and sometimes better than a straight person. They are protecting our beautiful country and it just boggles my mind people have a problem with gay people in the military. God Bless America and ALL the men and women who have sacrificed for the best country in the world.
