Should be 8 weeks measuring at 6 - 6.5 says baby stopped developing?

i had a transl ultrasound. Detected no heartbeat. Says baby seems to have stopped developing after 6 weeks. Also detected a golf ball sized cyst on my left ovary and a tilted uterus. Doctor wants to do Dnc Monday or can wait for miscarraige. Have had no bleeding. What should I do? We are both very upset of course. Is there any chance they are wrong?
