Can I get deployed in a non combative MOS, and how can i increase my chances of getting deployed?

I am a marine in my MOS school right now to be a court reporter (4422) and i hate the fact that i will probally never see combat. if i could do it all over id go 03. once i get to the fleet how can i get deployed and is there any way i can get in the fight, also how hard is it to make a lat move. I really want to go to Afgahnistan, and will do anything to get over there, any and all advice is appriciated! thanks
